Set up Automated Trading

Automated trading lets Minara place buy or sell orders for you when your target price levels are reached — so you don’t have to watch the market 24/7.

By combining price monitoring with trading actions, you can build reliable “buy the dip,” “take profit,” or “stop-loss” workflows directly in Minara.

How It Works

Minara’s automated trading runs through workflows that:

  • Monitor token prices in real time (on supported tokens and chains).

  • Execute trades when your specified price conditions are met.

  • Notify you via Telegram or email once execution is completed.

Price monitoring is powered by Minara’s high-precision monitor system, designed for fast and accurate triggers.

What You’ll Build

You’ll create a workflow that can:

  1. Watch a token’s price (≥ or ≤ a target value).

  2. Execute a buy, sell, or both when triggered — including take-profit (TP) and stop-loss (SL).

  3. Send you a confirmation notification when the trade executes.

Example Prompts

You can describe your trading idea in plain English — Minara will convert it into a runnable workflow.

Simple Buy/Sell Trigger

“If ETH price falls to 4,000 USDT, buy $500 worth of ETH.” “If BTC price reaches 130,000 USDT, sell 0.1 BTC.”

Buy + Take-Profit/Stop-Loss

“Buy 200 USDT of SOL if price ≤ 175 USDT, then take profit at 200 USDT and stop loss at 160 USDT.”

Laddered Buy

“Buy $200 ETH at 4,000 USDT, $200 at 4,150 USDT, and $200 at 4,250 USDT.”

Partial Exit

“If DOGE price hits 0.25 USDT, sell half my position.”

Best Practices

  • Use limit orders when possible and combine them with TP/SL for better control.

  • Keep Telegram linked and Minara’s Notification Bot enabled for instant updates.

  • Check your spam folder if you don’t receive execution emails.

  • Avoid overly tight TP/SL gaps — volatile wicks can trigger early exits.

  • Always verify the chain and token contract, especially for small-cap or meme tokens.

    • Major assets like BTC, ETH, and SOL are already pre-validated by Minara.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If a workflow deploys but doesn’t execute, confirm the price condition was actually reached.

  • For orders that don’t trigger, check:

    • Your workflow logic (price threshold, direction, and token contract).

    • That you’re using supported tokens/chains.

    • That your wallet/exchange connector is active and funded.

  • If no Telegram or email update arrives, verify your connectors and notification settings.
